1. At the beginning of the year I just believed that artwork was created due to imagination. Now I realize that art is a form of expression. Artists use their time in creating their piece of artwork to portray the way they're feeling and express themselves. Its a healthy way to release one's feelings and express every aspect of a situation they are in.
3. At first when I was asked about a gray area in art I believed that there wasn't one. Throughout this semester and completing projects, i've realized that there is a gray area. In art you can take someone's idea but you can make it your own by adding things and tweaking things. Doing it that way would be changing it so you wouldn't be copying but your still getting a foundation from someone else.
4. When artist's made art I just thought that was their way of expressing themselves. I never believed that they could use their talent for a social aspect until I thought about streetart. The meaningful kind of streetart that sends a message is also another reason artists make art. They can send a message with this art thats free for anyone to see and then makes people rethink their views and actions.
5. In the beginning of the year when I was asked what artist's style was, I believed that it was the form of art you used. I believed that if you used clay or photography, or watercolor that was your artist's style. I now know artist's style is the way you use each of those things. That way people would know thats coming from you.
